Boise is Filled With Fun Events this July

Remember back in January when the weather app on your phone read eight degrees?

You’ve probably packed up your winter coats by now. Maybe you’ve even had the chance to float the river once or twice… As things are heating up, we hope you are enjoying Boise as much as we are. There are so many awesome events to choose from.

Twilight Criterium

If you’re big into cycling, the annual Twilight Criterium is a fun race and a great way to meet other cyclists in the area. It’s a race I’ve competed in several times over the years and one I look forward to each time it takes place. I even heard Kristin Armstrong is attending this year’s race and signing autographs!

So, mark your calendars for July 11th. The kids will race first at 12:30 pm. The awards ceremony is set to begin at 9:30pm and there is a ton of fun stuff happening all day long. Check out their website for the full schedule of events and road closures.

Alive After Five

If bikes are not your speed, here’s a different way to play in Boise:

Alive After Five is a fun way to celebrate a Wednesday night. The food trucks and live music start at 5pm. What could be better? Make your way to the Grove Center Downtown, you don’t want to miss it.

Basque Night

We also noticed July 29th is Basque night, which begins at 4pm. If you’ve never been, you definitely need to make an appearance. It’s something you won’t forget. Food, music, culture. It’s a ton of fun.

There’s More to Explore

We are grateful to live in such an active and culture rich city. Boise really comes alive in the summertime; with so many events, festivals, concerts, and farmers markets — it’s hard to decide what to do first.

That’s one of the reasons we enjoy our patients and this city as much as we do!
